Vishwajeet facing tough time in Usgao, thanks to Ravi

Some of the BJP workers feel alienated as Vishwajit was earlier elected on a Congress ticket and now contesting as  BJP candidate.  

Even though Usgao is part of Ponda taluka, the panchayat has been made a part of Valpoi constituency.  Barring a few companies setting shop, Usgao has not seen much of development.

There is a lot unemployment. Congress candidate in Valpoi who has begun his door to door campaign in earnest said he will lay stress on education and employment if elected. 

Some of the Usgao residents spoke to Goa 365 and expressed their opinions. Some Usgaokars who had supported BJP earlier now feel alienated.
