Vijai wants all casinos out of Mandovi, but right now No Entry to 6th casino

But right now, they are strongly opposing the entry of the 6^th casino in the river.

Goa Forward minister Vijai Sardesai took over as the party president on Wednesday.

He also said that they would oppose all the red category projects.

The state executive on Wednesday appointed its mentor and TCP minister Vijai Sardessai as president of the party.

Housing Minister Jayesh Salgaokar was appointed as the youth leader and WRD Minister Vinod Palyekar was appointed to head the OBC cell.

Speaking to the press after the meeting Vijai said that they were opposed to all the casinos in the Mandovi as also to the entry on the 6^th casino into the Mandovi. 

Vijai also came out strongly against polluting industries saying that they would not allow these to enter the state under the guise of the Investment Promotion Board.

He said that they were also looking into how to ensure employment to Goans in all industries.

He also promised to address all issues including about the regional plan before the end of the upcoming assembly session.

The Assembly session begins on July 18 and ends on August 6.
