Vijai endorses CM’s appeal to MLAs on Drugs

The Town and Country Minister and Goa Forward chief Vijai Sardessai backed the Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on his letter to elected representatives asking them to provide information about drug related activities instead of just mouthing off.

The chief minister had assured that strict action would be taken against tainted police officials and drug peddlers in the letter.

This two-paragraph letter signed personally by Parrikar says that statements by the MLAs on nexus dampens the morale of police and creates unwarranted sensationalism. It also damages Goa’s image.

Vijai said that there are certain lobbies bent on damaging the reputation of the state and MLAs especially should be careful not to be not speak without any evidence.
