Velim: Benjo, Neri, Babush, Cruz confident of winning

As the suspense continues over the fate of the candidates in the assembly election, Goa365 decided to go to the Velim constituency and speak to the candidates as to how confident they are of winning

Each one of the four candidates we spoke to exuded confidence of winning the seat.

Current independent MLA, Benjamin Silva expressed confidence of his victory. Silva says no other MLA has done so much development as he has done.

Former MLAPhilip Neri Rodrigues says the mood of the voters in his constituency this time was in favour of the Congress party. Rodrigues feels at least 10,000 people have voted for him out of the 23,000 votes cast.

Forward party’s candidate Anthony Rodriguessays it is because of people’s urging that he joined  the  Goa-based party.He expressed confidence that he will poll the silent votes.

Aam Admi Party’s candidate, Cruz Silva is sure that his party will emerge victorious not only in Velim but in the state as well. He is personally sure of crossing 9,000 total
