The grounded vessel of the Casino MV Lucky Seven is likely inviting a potential danger. It can totally destroy the Miramar beach, which is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the capital city.

Tourism Minister Babu Azgaonkar has made it clear that if this vessel damages the beauty of Miramar and hampers tourism badly, a strict legal action will be initiated against the concerned Casino Owners.

The MV Lucky Seven Casino vessel had grounded on the sand bar on Saturday late night. It has now drifted towards the Miramar beach by Sunday evening.

Anand Madgaonkar of the Madgaonkar Salvages says it will pose threat to tourism.

Tourism Minister Babu Azgaonkar has also gone one step ahead and threatened of legal action in case this casino vessel causes any risk to tourism activities at the beach.

Goa Forward Supremo Minister Vijai Sardesai who has always been vocal against this vessel has criticized the attempt of towing the casino vessel in Mandovi.

However Chief Minister Parrikar is not even ready to call it a casino. Listen to what he says.

Congress has demanded an immediate probe into finding who is responsible for pressurizing the Captain of ports for permitting entry of this casino vessel.
