Tawadkar overconfident about Canacona ticket

Sports minister Ramesh Tawadkar has claimed that he will get ticket from Canacona once again and get elected for the third consecutive time.

It was a function of laying foundation stone of renovation work of T B Cunha sports complex at Cansaulim.

Sports minister Tawadkar laid the foundation stone of the work worth 68 lakh rupees, in the presence of local MLA and minister Alina Saldanha.

The media later asked him about his prospects in Canacona.

The issue has arisen because former BJP MLA Vijay Pai Khot is also trying for the BJP ticket.

But Tawadkar seemed overconfident.
