Shivsena will contest to win, not to defeat: Uddhav

This was clarified by Shivsena Pramukh Uddhav Thackeray at a massive meeting organised at Porvorim on Saturday.

He however has fully supported the Bharatiya Bhasha Suraksha Manch, which has floated a party to defeat the BJP.

Shivsena chief Uddhav Thakarey had postponed his Goa visit which was initially scheduled during the last weekend.

He arrived in Goa on Saturday morning. He was welcomed and felicitated at the meeting of party workers by Goa state chief Sudip Tamankar.

Thakarey said, the BJP whom they trusted for all these years has become blind with power.

He confidently expressed that the saffron wave will hit Goa completely.

Thackeray said Shivsena is here to win and not to defeat.

He has also assured complete support to the cause of BBSM and its new political outfit Goa Suraksha Manch.

Thakarey appealed the Goan shivsainiks to open shakhaas in all the villages throughout the state.

Thackeray also criticized the BJP by saying BJP is not sticking to its ideologies and principles.

He pointed out that instead of National parties the regional fronts have more opportunities of victory in Goa.
