PM Modi to address 2 rallies, BJP mobilises galaxy of leaders for campaign

The Bharatiya Janata Party has also lined up the whole galaxy of leaders for the election campaign. Party’s election committee also met supporters from six constituencies on Thursday. In some constituencies, there are more than one contenders.

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar and other leaders met supporters of contenders from Pedne, Calangute, Quepem, Poriem, Curtorim and Mayem.South Goa MPNarendra Sawaikar said the leaders coming to address election rallies include BJPPresident Amit Shah, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Central Minister Nitin Gadkari, Smiriti Irani and Yedurappa.

Sawaikar however did not comment on MGP withdrawing support to the BJP government. He said the main rival of the BJP is the Congress
