Min Jayesh violates Code of Conduct, visits road repairing

Goa Forward Minister Jayesh Salgaonkar personally went to the site of ongoing road repairs in Guirim on Tuesday when Code of Conduct is imposed in the whole of North Goa.

Around 100 metres of the road from Girim to Parra coming from national highway at Green Park was in bad condition due to water logging as well as heavy traffic of laterite stones and sand.

This stretch at Namoshi Waddo was taken up for pavering as people take Ganesh idols for immersion from here during Chovoth.

It was a normal repair work. But minister personally visited it and said the whole road could not be taken up due to Code of Conduct.

When actually his visit was in violation of Code of Conduct.
