MGP not part of NDA, our workers have told us to prepare for LS polls: Deepak

The Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party has said that it is not a part of the National Democratic Alliance and has just supported the BJP led government in the state.



 According to party president Deepak Dhavalikar, some of the party workers have told them to prepare for the 2019 Loksabha elections and thus they have decided to extend term of working committee by 2 more years till 2019.

The party president addressed media after the meeting of Central Committee of the MG party on Monday.

He informed that some members of the Central Executive Committee of the party are not satisfied with the government. He said the MG Party is ready to relax its policies if needed.

He also added that the final decisions regarding the Loksabha and Zilla Panchayat will be taken by the central committee.
