The Madgao sessions court would give order on anticipatory bail applications of opposition leader Babu Kavalekar and his brother Babal on 6th of October.

The arguments ended on Wednesday. Babu’s lawyer Rajiv Gomes has alleged that his room could have been tempered by planting Matka slips. Because the room locks were not sealed.

Rajiv stated that there was a four days gap between the ACB raid and the visit of the CB officials to the Kavlekars’ residence.

He has argued that that there is every possibility that the room could have been tampered. The Sessions Court on Wednesday heard arguments for Baba;’s bail application.

The court will give verdict on 6th of October. Rajiv stated that the prosecution is not clear as to whose custody they want, Babu’s or Babal’s.
