Goans come together for peace & unity, blast the Govt

Goa finally witnessed first ever inter-religious meet after the controversy over beef ban as well as incidents of desecration, which had threatened Goa’s social fabric of communal harmony.

Leaders from all the three religious faiths came  together and resolved to maintain peace and unity. 

  The meet was being organized by Interfaith Alliance for Justice and Peace in Goa and attended by thousands of people at Azad Maidan inPanaji.

Various speakers spoke on different issues including Communalism, Intolerance, Beef, Desecration, Safety of Women andCasinos.The BJP-led coalition government also came under fire.
