Goa BJP different from national BJP, it has more Christians: Vijai

This is the justification Goa Forward leader Vijai Sardesai has given to his supporters on why he has joined the BJP government. 

Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai apologised to his voters for not taking them into confidence before joining hands with the BJP.

The meeting was held at his residence. It was also attended by Margao municipal president Babita Angle Prabhudesai and Goa Forward general secretary Mohandas Lolayekar.

Party president Prabhakar Timble has already resigned.

The main leaders of Goa Forward like Babita Angle Prabhudesai, Prashant Naik and Tito Cardoz supported Vijai’s decision to join the government. But the official decision in this regard would be taken at the party meeting convened on Wednesday.
