Former Congman Akbar Mulla joins GF, Vijai claims Akbar innocent in GCA scam

Former Congressman Akbar Mulla joined Goa Forward on Sunday. Party President Minister Vijai Sardesai welcomed Akbar Mulla in the presence of ministers Vinod Palyekar and Jayesh Salgaonkar.

Vijai Sardesai has termed this as a better political climate change in the state.

Former Congressman Akbar Mulla who worked for Congress almost for 4 decades was a former office bearer of the Goa Cricket Association and was arrested last year for alleged involvement in misappropriation of funds of the GCA.

He is the third former Congressman to join Goa Forward now after Trajano D’mello and former MLA Babush Monseratte who was expelled by the Congress for 6 years.
