First ‘No Confidence on Sarpanch’ within 1 day in Old Goa

Power Minister Pandurang Madkaikar has dismissed charges of manhandling.

He has termed the incident as publicity stunt by sarpanch Nilkanth Bhomkar.

Newly elected sarpanch of Old Goa Nilkanth Bhomkar had alleged that BJP minister Pandurang Madkaikar had barged into Old Goa Panchayat with his supporters and manhandled Bhomkar and his wife after the election process for sarpanch which was held on Monday.

Bhomkar had also filed a police complaint in this matter at Old Goa Police station.

However Minister Madkaikar has dismissed all the charges and informed that the panchas are filing a no confidence motion against the sarpanch.

Madkaikar has claimed support of 5 Panchas. He has also dared Bhomkar to prove the strength of majority of panchas on his side.
