Former Union Minister Eduardo Faleiro has supported BJP government’s move on World Yoga Day and demanded to introduce Yoga in the schools curriculam.

But he doesn’t want Baba Ramdev’s classes. The senior Congress leader has also demanded a museum of freedom fighters’ portraits in the Goa Assembly

Faleiro has not given any specific reason for not introducing Baba Ramdev classes on Yoga. He leaves it to the educationists about making Yoga classes mandatory in the schools.

He has also expressed concern over Konkani and Marathi government primary schools closing down.

18th June is the Goa Revolution Day. On the eve, Faleiro has also urged Speaker Pramod Sawant to build a museum of portraits of great freedom fighters of Goa in the Assembly complex. Beginning with Dr T B Cunha.
