Cong-GF seat sharing fizzles out, Cong undecided on support in Siolim

The party has also not decided whom to support in Siolim. The Congress had not fielded its candidate in Siolim as it was kept open for Goa Forward. This was announced on Saturday by Congress national leader Digvijay Singh.

The most awaited decision was announced in the presence of leader of opposition Pratapsingh Rane, and AICC secretaries Girish Chodankar and  Chellakumar.He said the party will support candidates in Panaji, Porvorim and Siolim and contest 37 seats.

Digvijay Singh announced that Jose D’Silva will contest from Fatorda since the talks of seat adjustments with Goa Forward have finally not materialized. He thus ruled out any truck with Goa Forward.
