Cong to shut down offshore and land casinos, BJP to move them in the sea

The Congress now wants to shut down all the casinos – offshore as well as land casinos. And the BJP wants to move casinos vessels from Mandovi river to the sea. And no more licences. In 2012, exact reverse positions were taken by both the parties.

In 2012, the Congress was in power and the BJP in opposition. At that time, the BJP had assured that they would remove all casinos from the state. And the Congress wanted to relocate them. Now Congress wants to shut down casinos while BJP wants to relocate them.
