Cong didn’t delay, Vijai had secret pre-poll pact with BJP: Luizinho

Goa Congress President Luizinho Faleiro has dismissed the claim of Minister Vijai Sardesai that the delay in electing the CLP leader had resulted into the Goa Forward supporting the BJP government.

According to him, there was a secret pre-poll alliance between Vijai and chief minister Manohar Parrikar. And independent MLA and minister Rohan Khaunte also ditched them.

 According to Faleiro, he had agreed to sacrifice the chief ministership because Goa Forward did not want him. Even the CLP leadership acceptable to Goa Forward was decided. But by 12^th afternoon, Goa Forward as well as Rohan Khaunte went back on their assurance and gave a letter supporting the BJP.

 Luizinho also alleged that there was a secret well planned pre-poll alliance between the Goa Forward and the BJP.
