Citizen service centres in both the districts by mid-August

The government has decided to start citizen service centres in both North and South Goa collectorates by mid-August. It would cater to the people who are not comfortable with online services.



Revenue minister Rohan Khaunte has also decided to try and dispose of all the pending mutation cases by September.

Khaunte is planning to speed up total digitalization of land records. The Mahiti Ghar service was discontinued to ensure transparency as there were complaints from different quarters. He also said that vacancies of talathis would be filled as fast as possible.

The revenue minister said that mamlatdar and deputy collectors are asked to fast track the mundkarial and partition cases by  September. He also said that there would be a software to monitor these cases and a digital call centre has begun to help people with their pending works in various departments
