Churchill wants Caitu to get disqualified

But he wants Banavali MLA Caitu Silva to be disqualified for holding Portuguese citizenship.

He asks why Caitu is not disqualified as MLA when many panchas and sarpanchas have been disqualified for the same reason.

Alemao said he is sympathetic to people who hold Portuguese passport.

caetano silva was disqualified by home ministry on grounds he has registered his birth  with the  registry of births in Lisbon.

silva  appealed in the high court against his disqualification by the home ministry.

The high court has sent the matter to the government.
