Casino and Delhi lobbies spent Rs 1000 Cr to form BJP Govt: Cong

The Congress has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party has spent atleast 1000 crore rupees to form the government in Goa.



The AICC secretary Girish Chodankar told reporters that this money was from casinos and from Delhi. 

 The Congress also alleged that their MLAs were being approached by the BJP to pressurise them to switch sides.

The Congress party has written to the governor Dr Mridula Sinha asking that the senior most MLA be appointed as the pro tem speaker to uphold democratic values.

Girish termed this as a precedent that had been followed till date. The BJP has formed the government in Goa even though the Congress was the single largest party.
