Campaign ends, Coalition partners pitch strongly in favour of BJP candidates

The campaigning for Panaji and Valpoi got over on Monday. The alliance partners in the Bharatiya Janata Party led coalition government Goa Forward and the Independent MLAs along with ministers have pitched in strongly in favour of the Panaji BJP candidate Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. They say ponnjekars should elect a ‘made in Panaji’ leader instead of an imported leader in the by-polls

The BJP leadership along with the coalition partners praised efforts of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and criticized the Congress in a public meeting held at Panaji on Sunday evening.

A similar meeting was held in the presence of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar at Valpoi for campaigning of BJP candidate Vishwajit Rane.

It was attended by a large number of locals. MGP Minister Sudin Dhavalikar also addressed the meeting.
