Bharatiya Bhasha Suraksha Manch claims that the supreme court order not to seek votes in the name of language does not apply to them

The Manch has also described the politicians promoting English at primary level as Devils and Vasco da Gama a Dacoit.

The BBSM had its election-related meeting in Vasco city on Friday late evening. It was addressed by several leaders including Arvind Bhatikar and rebel RSS leader Subhash Velingkar. According to Velingkar, they are fighting to protect their mother tongue, thus the Supreme Court order does not apply to them.

He also described the BJP leaders as Asuras, by linking their behavior to the devils in Puranas. He also demanded that the name of Vasco city be changed since Vasco da Gama was a dacoit.
