Rajiv Gandhi Jayanti celebrated by Congress

Goa Pradesh Congress Commitee Chief Shantaram Naik praised former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi for implementing Environment Protection Act and the Consumer Protection Act during his tenure as the Prime Minister.

The Congress party celebrated Sadbhavana divas in Panaji and Bamolim on account of birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

GPCC President Shantaram Naik and Goa Congress in-charge Dr. A Chella Kumar in presence of Leader of Opposition Babu Kavalekar and others paid floral tributes to Rajiv Gandhi at the memorial at GMC Complex in Bamolim on Sunday. Later they took the sadbhavana pledge.
