The mining truck owners have alleged that government is looting them by making it compulsory to install GPS as well as speed governors for controlling speed.

The truck owners associations of South and North have demanded to make one thing compulsory and not both. Because it costs lots of money.

The mining truck owners have suffered enough due to ban on mining for the last four years.

While mines would now start functioning, the government has already charged the truck owners almost 22 thousand rupees to install GPS.

It doesn’t allow speed beyond 40 kms per hour. After that, now the transport department is insisting on installing speed governors.

It costs 14 thousand rupees more. And the limit is more than GPS. 60 kms per hour.
