Meeting between Sesa-Truckers fails, Truck Owners to decide on Sunday

The meeting between Sanvordem Sesa truck owners and Sesa Goa officials convened by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar in presence of local MLAs on Saturday failed since the mining company did not agree to the terms and price demanded by the truckers.



Sesa wants to start its mining operations at Codli mines on Monday however the truckers will take final decision on Sunday.

Sanvordem MLA Dipak Pawaskar informed media after the meeting that the Sesa officials did not agree to compromise on the rates the truck owners had desired.

The truckers had demanded to scrap off the slabs of kilometer wise price. 

Meanwhile, Sanvordem Sesa Truck owners have countered Kudchade MLA Nilesh Cabral on his remarks on Sanvordem MLA Dipak Pawaskar saying he is unnecessarily trying to drag and interfere in issue of Mining Truck transport.
