Women fear as Vasco foot overbridge remains in total darkness

Women feel unsafe to use the foot overbridge at night.

According to the locals, the foot overbridge was constructed considering the demands from the people living in Baina as due to the southern railway line, people had to walk over 1 kilometer to come to Vasco and back.

People in large number are using this shortcut route.

However, the authorities concerned have failed to maintain the bridge.

Today, the people using the bridge feel unsafe because the bridge is not illuminated.

Locals say that due to increase in crime against women and minors, the authorities should pay attention to the foot overbridge.
