Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has posed one simple question to those who oppose bringing coal to Goa.

What will Goans do if the power generation plants stop supplying power to us? According to him, people should oppose POLLUTION of coal, and not coal.

And his government will continue opposing expansion of the coal handling plant.

Chief Minister Parrikar was speaking at a function to distribute the first lot of laptops to the higher secondary students. The laptop distribution was delayed, but it has now started from the Children’s Day.

IT Minister Rohan Khaunte and other dignitaries were also present at this symbolic function besides students, teachers and the headmasters. CM took this opportunity to speak on the coal transportation, which is opposed by the people of Vasco.
