We won’t exist if there is no Western Ghat: Sandesh Kodur

Acclaimed Wildlife photographer Sandesh Kadur, speaking at the inaugural of the lecture series of the DD Kosambe Festival of Ideas on Monday, said that the multi hued Western Ghats were the main reason that India was discovered.

Given that spices were the reason the world initially came to india. And without the mountains there would be no spices. 

Sandesh Kadur is an award winning wildlife photographer and documentary filmmakerwho was recognized by the National GeographicSociety as an Emerging explorer.

He spoke about how he got wildlife photography and the vast variety of life that is present in these Western Ghats.
