Sal locals stop illegal dumping of waste in village

 Recently, they managed to stop a truck that came to dump and filed a police complaint.

 For the past six months or more, a remote place in Sal village has become a site for illegal dumping of waste.

The villagers however were totally ignorant about it till recently when some people raised the issue at the recent gram sabha. 

According to the residents, this irresponsible act has polluted the nearby water resources. On Monday,

the locals stopped a truck along with workers who had come to dump waste. The locals later filed a police complaint.
