Ruckus over Sewerage treatment plant in Bandoda Gramsabha

Villagers of Bandora opposed both the projects unanimously.

Bandoda villagers, especially from Undir area, grilled the panchayat body over the issue of the Sewerage treatment plant. They again raised an objection to set up the project in Undir claiming that it is an eco sensitive region with mangroves and has a residential area.

They later passed a resolution to not allow the Sewerage Treatment Plant anywhere in the village of Bandoda.

 Villagers also objected and opposed a petrol pump which was supposed to be set up in Survey No 220 at Farmagudi in the village. People, as well as the Gopal ganpati temple management, have opposed it thoroughly.
