Roads leading to Verna industrial Estate lie neglected

The stretch of National Highway 17 passing by the Verna Industrial Estate and the road leading to the industrial Estate are in bad shape. Both the roads have developed potholes at several places.

The roads lie neglected for a long time now. Many a two-wheeler rider has fallen down after landing in the potholes as the potholes  are not visible to them after a heavy downpour. 

The chairman of Verna industrial Estate has said the authorities concerned have assured to take up the repair work after the monsoon 

 Verna  locals say the Industrial Development  Corporation is neglecting the road even though several reputed  companies are located at the Verna Industrial Estate

When media persons approached Chairman of Verna industrial Estate Vishwanath Kochar for his comment,

he said he has already approached the National Highway Authority  as well as the PWD.

He said both the authorities have decided to take up the repair work after the monsoon is over.
