NH 17 stretch at Navelim becoming a death trap

Commuters are facing a huge problem while travelling on this road stretch.

 The problem arises mostly when it rains heavily as it becomes difficult to distinguish between the road filled with water and the trench. People have ended up into the trench.

Local MLA Luizinho Faleiro had highlighted the issue; he had even threatened to hold rasta roko with 10000 students.

The highway authorities had started to refill the drain trenches but the work is stopped again.
