MMC resolves to regularize services of temporary staff

The council has also decided to buy new vehicles to collect and transport garbage. 

Chairperson Deepak Naik informed media that recently Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar had convened a meeting  of Chief officers and chairpersons of municipalities  along with Urban Development Minister Francis D’Souza.

At this meeting it was decided that temporary staff should be regularized.

Accordingly, the council on Wednesday decided to regularize the services of daily wage and temporary workers.
