Mahila Congress hands over memorandum to community health centre valpoi

In an attempt to cause embarrassment to the health minister, Mahila Congress handed over a memorandum to the Health Officer of Community Health Centre of Valpoi.
The memorandum concerned the non- functioning of equipment at the health centre, including the X ray machine.
The Mahila Congress delegation was led by Goa MAHILA Congress president Advocate Pratima Coutinho.
The delegation comprising mainly women had to face police hurdles. Police later allowed a smaller group of Mahila Congress to meet the health officer.
