Madgao fish market polluting River Sal

As if this is not enough, the fish waste ends up in River Sal. Government spends crores of rupees to clean up river Sal.

Can we ever expect river Sal to be clean when tonnes of fish waste is thrown into it..

adgavkars say that Swachch Bharat Abhiyan is being tom-tommed loudly but it appears to be a failure in Madgao’s wholesale fish market.

They have urged the authorities concerned to clean up the wholesale market and ensure that the fish waste does not end up in the river.
