Hindu Janjagruti demands Cow Sanctuary for Goa

The Hindu Janjagruti Samiti has demanded that a Cow Sanctuary be set up in Goa to protect the cow.



The forum of Hindutva organizations has also demanded a total ban on beef all over the country.

The Samiti is having its sixth All India Hindu Convention in Goa from 14th of June.

The four-day national convention scheduled at Ramnathi in Ponda from Wednesday is expected to be attended by 400 delegates from 21 states as well as Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

National Spokesperson of the Samiti Ramesh Shinde has made the demand of cow sanctuary. 

Samiti’s national guide DrCharudattaPingaleclaimed that even Mahatma Gandhi had asked for a beef ban in the country.
