Gandhi market vendors gherao MMC chief officers office

The vendors said that they were assured that the MMC would take serious action and remove the illegal vendors but failed to do so within the promised time.

Thursday morning saw a big crowd of vendors proceeding towards the Municipality.

President of Gandhi market Rajendra Azgaonkar said that they had complained to the MMC about the illegal vendors operating in the market premises. He said that they were assured that they would be removed but the MMC had failed to do so.

MMC Chief officer Agnelo Fenandes said that he will take action and solve this issue by the 1^st week of November.
