Dumped mud makes national highway slippery

14 Jun 2017 07:50 PM

Mud dumped besides the national highway 17 in Panzarconi is creating a nuisance to the commuters.

After heavy showers over the past few days, the mud was pushed on to the road. As a result, the road has become slippery and dangerous for vehicles.

The mud was dumped by the PWD for the ostensible purpose of widening the road  and to cover pot holes.

But due to the heavy showers, the mud has turned into sludge.

The locals are upset and are afraid to drive or ride on this stretch of the road as it has become dangerous for commuters.
