Shopkeepers of Kudchade are agitated over the Fire Brigade report which has termed the news of people throwing stones on Kudchade fire brigade office to wake up the firemen is false and fabricated.

They told Goa365 that the personnel were not even fully equipped with all the necessary equipment.

The Goa365 Shorts circulated on Wednesday about people waking up firemen on Tuesday midnight created waves in the Fire Brigade headquarters in Panaji.

Because the fire brigade reached the Kudchade market after the shop was almost gutted in fire.

This is a video, shot over mobile phone by some people. You can see very well in this the intensity of the fire and when the Fire Brigade reached the spot.

This Kudchade market is hardly 500 metres away from the fire station.

They have new brand building for them. But it took them almost 25 minutes to reach after people woke them up.

This is what shopkeepers told Goa365, while the preliminary report says they reached the spot in 5 minutes. Locals told us that they didn’t even have a ladder with them.
