CM tells why he scrapped Konkani Academy Lit awards

The whole selection process of the Goa Konkani Akademi literary awards was faulty and thus the Government decided to declare the proceedings as null and void.
This is what Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar told about the decision of scrapping the 32 awards.
According to him, there was a substantial conflict of interest in the selection process.
CM also said that the fate of all the awards will now be decided by a 3 member committee.
