Borim locals want Govt to end their traffic woes

The traffic congestions from the Bythakhol junction in Borim to the bridge circle is quite a regular affair. Locals have to suffer daily as this narrow road till the bridge witnesses heavy traffic everyday and they can’t even cross the road properly at times.

Thus they have demanded that the authorities should complete the new alternate bridge as soon as possible for putting a full stop to their problem.

Locals say the traffic in their village is a major problem, at times during the peak hours even crossing the narrow road becomes difficult because of constant congestions.

Locals claim that if the bridge over Zuari at Kutthali is closed, the load of heavy vehicular traffic comes on the already weak Borim Bridge.

They have thus demanded that work of the new bridge should start as soon as possible. Soil testing of this site of the new bridge is currently in progress.
