Will you believe if we tell you that Goa’s state highway is not even asphalted? Yes, there is one, right in the deep forest of Sanguem.

Even  people don’t live in this area, except six houses in one small area. But it is a State Highway. Watch this exclusive by our reporter PraharSavoddekar.

The search of state highways due to proposed ban on liquor outlets took us to this so called State Highway, in the Netravali wild life sanctuary.

It’s notified by the PWD simply because this road touches the Karnataka border.

This State Highway No. 6 starts at Bori in Ponda and ends at a village called Zuna in Sanguem taluka, going via Shiroda and Sanvordem. From Ugem onwards, this stretch is about 15 kms has never been asphalted.

Zuna is a small hamlet of only 6 houses.and  there is also another small village Dhargini near Zuna. And this is the state highway which leads to Zuna.
