No more air traffic- 3.7 km parallel taxi-track at Dabolim airport.

The Airport Authority of India finalised the contract of the construction of a 3.7 kilometer-long parallel taxi-track at the Daboli international airport.



 This will improve aircraft turnaround time at the navy -controlled airport.

This project will reduce flight delays due to air traffic congestion significantly at the international airport as the lack of a parallel taxi track north of the runway delay flights that land. Airport director B C H Negi on the sidelines of the independence day flag

said that the development of the airport terminal building and an increase in infrastructure help as there was an increase in the flow of passenger.

He also said that they have decided to demolish the old terminal building for better parking space.
