Kadamba plateau residents Jal Satyagraha till demands met

The long pending demand of Kadamba plateau residents for water may soon be resolved. The residents who had threatened of carrying out jal satyagraha are still not confident of quick action from government side.

They say they won’t give up with idea of jal satyagraha until the authorities really take any strong action to supply them water.

Government authorities had shown intent of starting work of laying the water pipeline at Kadamba Plateau.

According to the information financial approval for this project of Rs. 1.18 Crores has been given.

Work was tendered in the last week of June but still the work has not begun. The Residents Action Committee has welcomed Government’s decision to tender the work but they have decided to take cautious steps in this matter.
