Murgao Industries should start paying taxes; Mauvin

Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho has said that industries in and around Murgao will have to start paying tax to the panchayat. He said that he will be convening a meeting with the stake holders to discuss and finalize the issue.

 Mauvin said these industries which are established and function in and around Murgao Taluka should pay taxes to the panchayat from now on.

Mauvin said that these industrial units including petroleum companies operating from Murgao industrial estate are running their business without paying any revenue to any authority.

Panchayat does not get any income, Comunidade does not get any income and this land on which these industries are operating belongs to the Comunidad.
