Govt sticks to Rs12.50 ore transportation rate, 1 truck per family criteria: CM

It has decided to stick to 12 rupees 50 paise per kilometer per tonne as the rate.
And not more than one truck per family would be registered.
The government has also decided the criteria for registration of trucks and the speed limit.
Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said the timing for mining transportation will start from 6 in the morning to 7 in the evening, with a break of from 7.30 to 8.30 in the morning and between 1 in the afternoon to 2 in the afternoon due to schools.
The government has also raised the speed limit to 45 km/per hr from the earlier 40 km/hr.
Chief Minister also said that registration of only one truck per family will be allowed on that particular route.
He said that anyone who takes the law and order in their own hands or fails to follow the rules will not be allowed to register their trucks and do ore transportation.
Chief Minister said that the review meeting with this regards will take place in the month of December where all issues and problems will be looked into.
