Congress asks Vijai to stand in solidarity with ‘Gonekarponn’ on HC’s NGT verdict

: Town & Country Planning Minister Vijai Sardesai said nobody including the Government can ignore the judgment of High court over its scrapping of the notification shifting National Green Tribunal Western bench from Pune to Delhi.

 Congress on the other hand has appealed to the TCP Minister not to go against the High Court verdict and stand in solidarity with Goenkarponn.

 The Bombay High Court at Goa had quashed the earlier notification on shifting the jurisdiction of NGT cases related to Goa to Delhi from Pune.

The Minister was responding to a question on this verdict of the high Court. He says Chief Minister Parrikar is reviewing the whole verdict.

 Kudtari MLA Alex Reginaldo Lourenco has welcomed the High Court’s verdict. He has asked Minister Vijai Sardesai to stand in solidarity with Goenkarponn.
