Cabinet approves regularization of ad-hoc Govt posts

Government has now decided to do away with all ad-hoc posts. The cabinet has approved regularization and promotions of over 1200 ad-hoc posts with retrospective effect from 30th September of this year.

 Government has also taken steps to strengthen the Cardiology department in the Goa Medical College.

Many posts in the Government service were stuck at ad-hoc level due to several difficulties. The cabinet on Friday took a decision to regularize these posts in consultation with the GPSC.
